THORNTOWN, Mary - Putnam

Died on the 10th inst at the residence of her father, Mr. DT Thornton (near Bainbridge) Mary E. Thornton in the 14th year of her age of a disease of the Lungs. She bore her long suffering with great patience and resignation, giving strong proof of a preparation for her change. To speak of her many virtues would extend this notice too far.
